Springing into action – the season is in full bloom!
Hello from all of us at Acres Supply!
April has arrived in full force, and what a wonderful start to the season it’s been! We’ve been blessed with some gloriously dry and sunny weather (a far cry from last year’s soggy spring), and it’s clear our lovely customers are making the most of it—gardens are buzzing with activity, and so are we here at the garden centre!
Our Sweetpea plants are in and already brightening up the place with their fragrance and charm. We’ve got an excellent selection of vegetable plants - perfect for kick-starting your grow-your-own journey.
For the first time ever, we’re excited to stock grafted tomato plants, and they’ve been flying off the shelves! Don’t miss out on trying these super-strong, high-yielding beauties.
We’ve had a stunning delivery of English-grown Celebration Roses - top-quality blooms that make the perfect gift for any occasion, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just because.
Our fresh turf has been in huge demand this month. If you’re planning a new lawn or patching up after winter, our turf is cut to order so call now to reserve yours!
We’re thrilled to announce we are running the very first Corsley Scarecrow Competition! Entries are already trickling in and we can’t wait to see the creativity unfold. It’s all about bringing a bit of fun, joy, and community spirit to the village - so if you live in Corsley get your thinking caps on and join the fun!
The aquatics section is looking vibrant as ever! We’ve got a lovely variety of pond fish, from small common goldfish to stunning Koi for those looking to add something special to their ponds.
With the warm weather, blanket weed has made an early appearance - many customers have already popped in to pick up Blanket Answer, our trusted solution for clear, healthy water.
We’ve also had reports of frogspawn in many local ponds - such a welcome sight! Remember, we stock tadpole food to help those little ones get off to the best start.
We’re also delighted to see a growing interest in wildlife ponds this year. Whether large or small, they’re a brilliant way to support local biodiversity - and we’re here to help you get started!
That’s all for now - thank you for your continued support and for helping us make this a truly blooming start to spring. We look forward to welcoming you in-store soon!
