The cast stone House of Dun Urn by Haddonstone is a replica of a damaged original. Haddonstone was commissioned by the National Trust for Scotland to replace as part of the major restoration programme. The original urns at the House of Dun are believed to have formed part of a scheme devised by William Adam (1689 – 1748) for the house and landscape which was completed in 1730. The National Trust for Scotland has subsequently granted permission to include the cast stone House of Dun Urn in the Haddonstone Collection of garden ornaments. The House of Dun Urn is suitable for plants and flowers and is perfect for positioning on Haddonstone's balustrading or a Haddonstone pedestal.
