It has been claimed that Bramley's Seedling (Malus domestica 'Bramley's Seedling') is the finest cooking apple in the world! Its apples are a distinctive green to greenish-yellow colour with a lovely strong acid taste. A strong growing apple, so best on a dwarf rootstock such as M27. This apple first appeared in Nottingham in the 19th Century.
