  • Sow: February to June
  • Flowering: June to October
  • Indoors Sowing Guide: Sow indoors for earlier flowers, 1.5cm (1/2") deep, individually in small pots of compost. Keep moist. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 30cm (1') apart, when frosts are over.
  • Outdoors Sowing Guide: Sow outdoors where they are to flower, 1.5cm (1/2") deep, directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Sow two seeds together every 20cm (8"). Seedlings appear in 21-28 days. Remove the weaker plant, which can be transplanted elsewhere if desired. Water well until young plants are established.
  • Soil Type: Well drained, fertile
  • Position: Full sun
  • Hints & Tips: Do not feed nasturtiums, as this will encourage leafy growth rather than flowers. They do well on poor, hungry soils an withstand fairly dry conditions.
  • Approximate Maximum Height: 120-150cm
  • Approximate Maximum Spread: 60cm
  • Flower Colour: Mixed
  • Hardiness & Longevity: Hardy Annual
